File extension svg information

There are at least seven file types with file extension SVG name. However, the most common one is the scalable vector image file. It is grouped in the category of Vector image files and is described as a two dimensional vector graphic format which was developed by the World Wide Web Consortium so as to display vector graphics on the web. It describes the images using a text format which is based on XML specification. It is an open standard the SVG images can be developed and exported from programs of Adobe Creative suite for example, illustrator and Golive.
